The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic enthusiasm by Gobi Arts & Science College through the GobiArts Cycling Club on 15 August 2026. A cycling rally was organized with the theme “Healthy People, Healthy Nation.” The rally was inaugurated by Dr. R. Mukhilesh, Consultant Urologist and Andrologist, KKS Hospital and Kidney Care Centre, Gobichettipalayam.

Around 60 participants took part in the rally, which commenced at 6:00 a.m. from Gobi Bus Stand and concluded at Gobi Arts & Science College. The rally highlighted the importance of physical fitness, healthy living, environmental awareness, and patriotism, creating a strong sense of national pride among the participants.

Happy to share that the National Task Force (NTF) Committee organized a One-Day Workshop on “The Balanced Student: Life Skills and Mental Health” on 18.08.2026 at ARS Hall. The workshop was addressed by Dr. R. R. Pranesh, Consultant Neuropsychiatrist, Gobi Neuro Mind Care Center, Gobichettipalayam, Lion K. Kumaravel, Motivational Speaker and Chairman, Tip Top Retailers, Erode & Karur; and Lion K. Jeyshridevi, Life Skills Coach and Chairperson, Tip Top Retailers, Erode & Karur as Chief Guests. The workshop created awareness among students about mental health, life skills, stress management and emotional well-being, encouraging them to lead a healthy and balanced student life.
