St Xavier’s School, Krishnai successfully conducted a CBSE-sponsored Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Happy Classroom” on 23 May 2026. A total of 48 teachers participated in the training programme with great enthusiasm and interest.
The programme began with a warm welcome address by the Principal of the school, Mr. Homendra Singh Yambem, who welcomed the resource person, Mr. Subrata Goswami, along with all the participant teachers. He expressed his sincere gratitude to CBSE for providing the school with the opportunity to organize such a meaningful and enriching training programme for teachers.
During the session, Resource Person Mr. Subrata Goswami highlighted the importance of creating a positive, inclusive, and joyful classroom environment for effective teaching-learning. He shared various practical strategies, activities, and approaches to make classrooms more engaging, student-friendly, and emotionally supportive. The teachers actively participated in discussions and activities and benefited greatly from the informative sessions.
The training programme concluded successfully with a vote of thanks delivered by the Head Mistress, Mrs. Rina Begum, who thanked the resource person, organizers, and all participant teachers for making the programme fruitful and successful.

Our school have conducted a one-day Capacity Building Programme on Use of AI in Classroom Teaching on 7th February 2026 under the aegis of COE, CBSE Guwahati. The programme began with a welcome address by the Principal & Venue Director, Mr. Homendra Singh Yambem, who thanked CBSE and COE Guwahati for providing the opportunity to organize this relevant and forward-looking programme. He highlighted the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in the present educational scenario and encouraged teachers to actively participate, interact, and later share their learning with students.

The academic sessions were conducted by the resource person, Mr. Sofiqul Islam, who effectively explained the practical use of AI in classroom teaching through interactive discussions. A total of 47 teachers participated actively in the programme. The session was well received and proved to be informative and enriching. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks to CBSE, COE Guwahati, the resource person, and all participating teachers for their cooperation and enthusiastic involvement.
