Sansar Green Mission Pvt.

Harit Sansar Movement Strengthens Natural Farming Awareness in Giridih, Inspiring Farmers Towards a Greener Future
Birni, Giridih, Jharkhand:

In a significant step towards promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation, Sansar Green successfully organized the Harit Sansar Natural Farming Awareness and Farmers' Training Programme at Birni Block in Giridih district. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of farmers, who gathered to learn about natural farming practices, soil restoration, and eco-friendly agricultural techniques.

The programme was graced by Mr. Rajeev Singh, Founder of Sansar Green and the driving force behind the Harit Sansar Movement, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the urgent need to reduce dependence on chemical-based farming and adopt natural methods that improve soil fertility, conserve water, and protect biodiversity.

During his address, Mr. Singh highlighted that natural farming is not only beneficial for the environment but also helps farmers reduce cultivation costs while improving long-term soil productivity. He encouraged every farmer to become a guardian of nature by integrating tree plantation with agriculture and passing on a greener environment to future generations.

One of the major attractions of the programme was the distribution of 700 mango saplings under the Harit Sansar Plantation Campaign. The initiative aims to expand green cover, promote agroforestry, create additional income opportunities for rural families, and encourage every farmer to contribute to climate action through plantation.

Experts and resource persons also conducted interactive sessions on natural farming, organic nutrient management, water conservation, soil health improvement, and sustainable crop production. Farmers actively participated in discussions, shared their experiences, and expressed their commitment to adopting environmentally responsible farming practices.

The Harit Sansar Movement continues to work with a vision of transforming villages into greener, healthier, and more sustainable communities. Through awareness programmes, plantation drives, farmer training, and community participation, Sansar Green is building a movement that combines environmental responsibility with agricultural prosperity.

The programme concluded with a collective pledge by participants to plant and nurture trees, adopt sustainable farming methods, and inspire others to protect nature.

As the Harit Sansar Movement expands across Jharkhand, it continues to demonstrate that empowering farmers with knowledge, sustainable practices, and environmental awareness is the key to building a resilient agricultural future and a greener India.
