“We can say of Shakespeare, that never has a man turned so little knowledge to such great account.”

William Shakespeare’s writings have greatly influenced the entire English language. To pay homage to this great playwright “Shakespeare lives In school day” was celebrated in school on 2 Dec 2016.
Shakespeare Day was started by British council, as an unprecedented global programme of events and activities celebrating William Shakespeare’s work on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of his death in 2016.

It was a fantastic occasion to celebrate the life and legacy of the brilliant playwright at our school. The students became aware of the brilliant plays written by William Shakespeare and were inspired to know more about him and his wonderful stories. Such events help students to become avid readers and interested in Literary Arts.
