Sports Day Awards

Bal Vasundhara Shiksha Sadan celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 12th November 2017.The day was dedicated to the Indian Air Force. The function was presided over by AVM Suresh Singh AVSM VSM .The glittering function started with the welcoming of the chief guest and other eminent guests. The march past was presented by all the students of all the four houses. The chief guest accepted the salute and inspected the Guard of Honor. The ceremonious legacy of lightning of torch was done by the chief guest which was followed by the oath ceremony .The meet was opened by the director of the school Dr. Ramji Rai. The mesmerizing school song was sung by all the students and teachers of the school. From Kho-kho to races, the students participated in the finals with great zeal and zest. Several dance numbers which included the boosting of morale from Chak-de-India to the frivolous dance of peacocks in Malhaar;from self-defence to shaking the feet on hula-hoop showed the efforts of students.Different asanas were shown by students to show their holistic approach.

The chief guest told the students to negate the presence of negative forces in their lives. The time management and anger management was stressed by him for becoming an all rounder. The principal of the school addressed the children and enlightened their path by her enthusiastic and energetic address. The show stoppers of of the day were the young acrobats who jumped through the ring of fire with valor and heroic approach . The act got goose bumps on the onlookers. The prizes were given to the winners on the occasion by the distinguished personalities .

Bal Vasundhara Shiksha Sadan celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm. Rangoli and Diya and candle making competition was also held which got so many best and innovative results. Beautifully decorated Diyas and Rangolis and candles were seen and appreciated by the judges. The students who stood first second and third in Diya making competition were Tanishka, Shivangi and Prarthana; Bhoomi and Khushi in Rangoli competition; Kritika, Diya and Shristi in candle making competition. On the eve of Diwali ,songs and rhymes were sung and narrated by the students .The students were told the importance of celebrating this festival by the principal of the school ,Mrs. Pratibha Roy. The students also shared their views about Diwali celebration .

Students of Bal Vasundhara Shiksha Sadan celebrated "GANDHI JAYANTI "with great enthusiasm. The theme was SWACHHA BHARAT ABHIYAN . The students had organised a 'Nukkad Natak' to make all the people in audience understand the values of hygiene and cleanliness. The mission of the father of nation of Mahatma Gandhi and Sh. Narendra Modi were shown in the natak. A song was also sung by the girl students as an ode to Mahatma Gandhi .

Bal Vasundhara Shiksha Sadan organised "DUSSHERA MELA" which was open for all. The students as well as teachers participated and represented their stalls. The function began in a very pious way with Ramleela in which the nine incarnations of Devi were shown. The effigy of Ravana was set on fire by the Lord Rama and director of the school Dr.Ramji Rai. Ramleela was enjoyed by everyone.
The mela was thrown open to all at 11:00 a.m. It was inaugurated by the director Dr. Ramji Rai. The efforts of students and teachers were worth watching. From Idlis to momos and golgappas; from balloon dart to tambola and a number of other stalls were seen.

BAL VASUNDHARA SHIKSHA SADAN invite you all to “DUSSHERA MELA” on 27th Sept, 2017 (Wednesday) in the BAL VASUNDHARA PARK from 11:a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be games, snacks, nail art and mehandi stalls etc.
