Our school has successfully organized and accomplished the workshop on Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices.

The programme aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding of competency-based learning, effective assessment methods, and evaluation practices aligned with NEP 2020 and CBSE guidelines.
The sessions focused on competency-based education, Bloom’s Taxonomy, formative and summative assessments, question framing, rubrics, experiential learning, and learner-centered evaluation techniques. Various interactive activities, group discussions, and collaborative tasks were conducted to ensure active participation and practical understanding among teachers.
*The resource persons Dr. Asha Sharma and Ms. Meenakshi Sarkar* shared valuable insights on designing competency-based questions and implementing innovative assessment strategies in classrooms.

The programme proved highly informative and beneficial for the participants. It enhanced teachers’ professional competencies and strengthened their understanding of holistic and meaningful assessment practices.
