DAV Public School, Sahibabad proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with immense patriotic fervour, joy and pride. The occasion was a beautiful reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the values that make our nation strong—unity, courage, equality and hope.

We were honoured to welcome Colonel H. V. Sharma as our esteemed Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he encouraged our students to follow the path of righteousness, integrity and responsibility, while taking pride in India’s rich cultural heritage.

Our Principal, Ms. Monika Mehan, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and urged the students to reflect upon the true meaning of Independence—not merely as freedom from the past, but as the freedom and responsibility to build a better, stronger and more compassionate India.

May our students always grow into responsible citizens who respect our diversity, uphold our values, serve the nation with sincerity and inspire generations to come.

DAV Public School, Sahibabad celebrated its Class XII academic luminaries of AISSCE 2025–26 in an elegant Felicitation Ceremony. The august presence of the Guest of Honour, Ms. Anita Wadehra, Member, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and Manager of the school, illuminated the occasion and she was accorded a gracious floral welcome. The occasion commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by the soulful rendition of Gayatri Gaan and DAV Anthem. In her Welcome Address, the Principal Ms. Monika Mehan exhorted students to remain humble, resilient and relentlessly committed to excellence. The Guest of Honour, Ms. Anita Wadehra urged the achievers to embrace challenges, uphold values and become conscientious architects of a stronger tomorrow. The melodious musical medley and felicitation of achievers and their proud parents with trophies and cash awards, added splendour to the memorable celebration. The emotional expressions by parents on the occasion to relive their journey throughout their ward's preparatory period touched all heart strings. The gala fiesta culminated with a sumptuous luncheon.

The Primary Wing of D.A.V. Public School ,Sahibabad celebrated Independence Day on 14th August 2026 with immense enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of national pride.

The programme commenced with a soulful patriotic song, followed by inspiring musical performances honouring the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. A vibrant presentation beautifully showcased India’s timeless spirit of “Unity in Diversity,” reminding our young DAVians that our strength lies in our diversity and togetherness.

We were honoured by the gracious presence of Mr. Naveen Bansal, President, Rotary Club of Ghaziabad, as the Chief Guest. His inspiring words, along with the thought-provoking address by our Principal Ma’am, highlighted the true meaning of freedom and the importance of becoming responsible, compassionate, and contributing citizens of the nation.

A memorable highlight of the celebration was the release of tricolour balloons, symbolising freedom, hope, dreams and aspirations for a brighter tomorrow. 🎈🇮🇳 The ceremonial release of pigeons further added grace to the occasion, symbolising peace, harmony and the enduring spirit of freedom. 🕊️✨

Adding to the joy of our young DAVians, refreshments and special tricolour wristbands were distributed among the students, making the celebration even more delightful and memorable. 🇮🇳

As the Tricolour soared high, our young DAVians celebrated not merely the freedom we inherited, but also the values that will shape the India of tomorrow — courage, unity, service, compassion, responsibility and patriotism.
