Coming out of our virtual classroom after two long years, we realised we all had changed significantly. It was a different world with its unique challenges.
And thatโs when we decided to bring our inner complexities onstage through Evolveโs Theatrical Presentation 2022.
We had participants as young as 6 ready to do anything to participate. We had 11th graders from different streams very keen not to miss this opportunity to voice their thoughts onstage, irrespective of the challenges they were facing academically.
For the first time, we invited students from Composite Government School, Lal Quaters, Ghaziabad, helping them get an opportunity to address their issues through a skit onstage.
Each chair in our classroom has a story to tell!

A six year old down with severe appendix pain telling me sheโll be fine by the show day; another running a high fever declaring she wonโt miss the show irrespective! Grandparents waiting in cars till evenings for rehearsals; mothers rushing their kids to the class at odd schedules exhausted but enthusiastic! A fourth grader volunteering to take the responsibility for the theatre sounds and rehearsing 5 hours each day for the same; another missing her Olympiad to reach at the last rehearsal on time as she couldnโt see her Pooja Maโam overwhelmed last minute! My son down with acute ear infection telling me not to worry too much; my daughter sitting with me each night working over the nuances of the play uncomplainingly. Senior Secondary students juggling between school exams and play rehearsals, overworked yet overexcited; the Students of Composite Government School relentlessly working over pronunciations and expressions to put their best foot forward!
I couldnโt be more grateful ; I couldnโt be more blessed๐๐ป
And finally, my EVOLVIANS performed magnificently๐
