The prestigious award was presented by Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji, Former Governor of Maharashtra & Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, and General Joginder Jaswant Singh, Former Chief of the Army Staff & Former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.

Out of more than 6,000 nominations received from across India, only 50 distinguished achievers were selected. Mr. Agarwal was honoured in the Education, Research & Soft Skills Training category in recognition of his exemplary contributions to academia, research, and student development.

**Day 2-3 Highlights | Faculty Development Programme on Universal Human Values (UHV-I)**

The second and the concluding day of the FDP focused on the concepts of **Self & Body**, **Trust, Respect, Care**, and **Harmony in Human Relationships**. Participants explored the significance of **Natural Acceptance, Right Understanding, Mutual Happiness, and Mutual Prosperity** through engaging discussions and real-life examples.

The programme concluded with a **Valedictory Session**, where participants shared their key takeaways and reflected on the importance of integrating **human values, professional ethics, and technical excellence** in education for a balanced, meaningful, and stress-free life.

The key speakers **Dr. Naveen Kumar Sharma & co-facilitator Dr. Priyanka Rai ** successfully transmitted their views and escalated the “ethics” component in the minds of the participants.

Inaugural Ceremony & Highlights of FDP on UHV & PE – Day 1

The Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities, IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, under the aegis of IQAC and in association with the Universal Human Value Cell, inaugurated the AICTE-approved 3-Day Faculty Development Programme on Universal Human Values (UHV & PE) from 13–15 July 2026.

The inaugural session was graced by the Director, Deans, HoDs, faculty members, and staff. The programme is being led by Dr. Navin Kumar Sharma, with Dr. Priyanka Rai as Co-Facilitator, Dr. Vikas Katoch as Observer, and Shri V. K. Agarwal as Local Programme Coordinator.

The Day 1 sessions focused on Basic Human Aspirations, Self-Exploration, Natural Acceptance, and Holistic Development, inspiring participants to integrate human values into both their personal and professional lives.

Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities, in collaboration with the UHV Cell of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), is organizing a 3-Days AICTE Approved Self-Funded Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV-I) from 13th – 15th July 2026.
