We are delighted to announce that a workshop on “Robotics: Industry, Innovation & Startups” has been successfully conducted for 2nd year students of ABESEC (ME, ELCE & EN Branches) during 19th May. - 24th May 2025. This workshop was jointly organized by INIF, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering, ABESEC. The workshop was supported by MeitY, GoI under TIDE 2.0 executed by INurture Incubation Foundation. The programme was anchored with AICTE IDEA LAB.

The Department of EN and ELCE organized a guest lecture on "Industry IoT 4.0" for EN and ELCE students to help them learn the basics of industrial automation, its application areas, and how IoT is integrated into such applications. The lecture was delivered by Mr. V. Sumit, Zonal Head – Sales at Sonepar India Pvt. Ltd, who leads the North India Sales Team for Industrial Automation.

ABES Students Shine at GRIDCON-25! | 2nd Place at Student Innovation Pavilion
Our brilliant 3rd-year students from the ELCE branch have secured 2nd Position at the prestigious Student Innovation Pavilion of GRIDCON-25, hosted by Power Grid, India at Yashobhumi Convention Centre, New Delhi.
GRIDCON-25 is an international event (March 9–11, 2025) featuring 2000+ delegates, 150+ companies, 150+ poster presentations, and participants from over 30 countries.

The Department of EN & ELCE successfully organized an industrial visit to the 400/132 KV Substation located in Pali Village, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, for 3rd-year students of the ELCE and EN on 16th and 17th April 2025, respectively.
The objective of this visit was to enhance students’ understanding of power system practical fundamentals by providing them with practical exposure to the real-time operations and components of a high-voltage substation. This visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and field experience.

We are delighted to announce that a workshop on “Robotics Product: ROS & Start-up Funding” has been successfully conducted for 3rd year students of ABESEC (ECE, ELCE & EN Branches) during 27th Feb. - 6th March 2025. This workshop was jointly organized by INIF, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering, ABESEC. The workshop was sponsored by MeitY, Govt. of India under TIDE 2.0 scheme. This workshop offered a valuable opportunity for students, researchers, and innovators to gain practical insights, refine their startup ideas, and explore growth opportunities in the Robotics domain (deep tech start-up).
Total 53 students had participated for the workshop enthusiastically. The sessions came to end with certification ceremony for the students' participants which motivated students for future learning.
