The Department of Electrical& Electronics Engineering (EN) was established in 2008 and have an intake of 120 students. in Electrical& Electronics Engineering was accredited by NBA for 3 years from 2017 till 2020 and then got further extension for one year till 2021. Currently, the department is re-accredited for 3 years with validity till 2024. The department has strength of 15 dedicated faculty m
embers holding master and doctorate degrees from reputed institutions including IITs and NITs. Faculty members have specialization in diverse fields of Electrical & Electronics Engineering viz. Control & Instrumentation, Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy, Power systems, Power Electronics, Electrical Machines & Drives and Hybrid Electric Vehicles. The faculty members and students of EN are actively involved in research activities and have published various patents, nationally as well as internationally, in addition to significant number of research papers in reputed International Journals, Proceedings of various International and National Conferences, Seminars and Symposia. The department has collaborated with various Industries and signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) for research activities, Industrial Visits, Expert Lectures, Industrial Training, Internship and Placements. The department has active student chapters with IEEE–Power Engineering Society, Institution of Engineers India (IEI) and the International Society of Automation (ISA), under which various activities are organized for the overall professional growth of the students, aligning to the latest trends in technology.
