Expert Session on “Building Blocks of Success: Essential Foundations for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Today, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of MBA at IMSEC proudly organized an inspiring session by Mr. Amaresh Yunas, Managing Director of ADEN Industries Pvt. Ltd. The session provided invaluable insights into entrepreneurship and the essential elements of building a successful venture.

The event commenced with motivational words from Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Singh, Head of the MBA Department, setting a positive tone for the day. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Sapna Kumari, Assistant Professor and Faculty Coordinator of the event, acknowledging the contributions of all involved.

Department of MBA in association with Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell and IIC, IMSEC organized an Expert session on “Entrepreneurship & Branding in 21st century: The Need of the Hour” on 9th December 2024 at IMSEC campus. The Keynote speaker was Dr. Dhruv Sood, CEO, Indo Realistic Management Consultant LLP. The session effectively covered core concepts of entrepreneurship and branding, the distinction between the two concepts, how entrepreneurship focuses on starting and growing a business. Key topics such as market research, identifying a target audience, and building a unique value proposition were addressed clearly.

Prof(Dr) M.P Singh, HOD, MBA was the convenor of this programme and it was well coordinated by Dr.Siby James, Associate Professor, MBA Department. On behalf of IMSEC Fraternity, HOD welcomed the Dr. Dhruv Sood by giving him a sapling.

The session balanced theoretical aspects with practical insights, making the content accessible for both budding entrepreneurs and more experienced business owners.

The Speaker provided actionable takeaways on how entrepreneurs can begin to build a brand, including choosing the right brand identity, understanding consumer behavior, and leveraging digital marketing. The speaker’s enthusiasm and knowledge motivated participants, inspiring them to think critically about their own branding strategies

Expert Session on Unlocking Wellness and Happiness: A Path to Success As a department, we strongly believe in the holistic development of students, and this session is part of our ongoing initiatives to nurture well-rounded individuals. We are excited to share the highlights of an inspiring expert session conducted by Dr. Gangandeep Kaur, Director, Unique Psychological Services. Her valuable insights on wellness and happiness as essential ingredients for success left a lasting impression on everyone.

In IMS Engineering College MBA department Under KAIZEN Club has organised an activity in relation to General management concepts, enriched with creativity and innovation as “My Innovative Idea”, Presented by MBA first year students. Presentation was comprised of various features like innovative product concepts, Marketing fundamentals, Financial feasibility and targeted market approach for creating a new world for target customers.

The insightful summarization by Dr.M.P Singh has put an remarkable impact on students for improvement in coming events. Moreover, Department has got great guidance, support and encouragement through the judges and team of faculty members as well.

IMSEC Shines at ABSIC 2024!

Congratulations to our MBA 2nd-year students, Mr. Tapas Kumar Singh and Mr. Vikas Pandey, for presenting their research paper, “Integrating Green HRM for Enhancing Employee Well-being and Achieving Sustainable Organizational Goals”, at the prestigious ABSIC 2024 conference held on 22nd-23rd November in Noida.

Guided by Dr. Pratibha Pandey, their work received appreciation for its innovative approach to sustainability and organizational development. This achievement highlights IMSEC’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and impactful research.

We are delighted to report the remarkable performance of our MBA 1st-year students at MANTHAN 2024, a business quiz competition held at RKGIT, Ghaziabad. The event brought together talented students from various institutions to test their business acumen and analytical skills.

Our students, Mr. Prashant Tomar and Mr. Vishu Tyagi, emerged as the 1st Prize Winners of the competition, showcasing exceptional knowledge and teamwork. They were felicitated with awards by the Guest of Honor, including a winner’s memento, a cheque of ₹5000, and certificates of achievement.

Ms. Sh*tal Anjali and Ms. Shraddha Singh also represented IMSEC with commendable efforts and were awarded participation certificates for their enthusiastic contribution. The success of our students reflects their hard work and dedication, which was further guided and nurtured under the mentorship of Dr. Pratibha Pandey, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies.

Urbanity Club Activity: Express-O-Meter

Today, the Urbanity Club of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, organized an exciting extempore competition, Express-O-Meter, for MBA first and second-year students. The program began with a warm welcome by Dr. M.P. Singh, HOD MBA, in the presence of all faculty members, who extended their support throughout the activity.

Under the guidance of Dr. Sapna Malik, Faculty Coordinator, and her enthusiastic student team, participants showcased remarkable spontaneity, creativity, and confidence. The event was a wonderful platform for students to enhance their public speaking and critical thinking skills.

Aarohan 2K24 - Day 9: Turning Dreams into Reality
Today’s sessions delved deep into the realm of aspirations, starting with an insightful talk by Dr. Kavita Singh, Assistant Professor, on "Dreams vs Goals." Her session inspired students to turn their dreams into achievable milestones through clear goal setting and determination.
Next, we had an informative session on the Indian Economy: "Viksit Bharat" by Dr. Nitin Mohan, Assistant Professor, IMSEC. This session provided students with a deeper understanding of India’s economic growth and its vision for a developed nation.
The afternoon was dedicated to activity of team management and leadership, where students displayed their enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork in various interactive sessions!

Aarohan 2K24 - Day 8: A Journey of Values and Morals
Today’s sessions were packed with invaluable insights, starting with an engaging talk by Dr. Siby James, Associate Professor, who enlightened our students on "How to be a Good Manager." His session offered a roadmap for becoming effective leaders in the corporate world.
Following this, we had a thought-provoking session on Human Values by Dr. Naveen Sharma, Associate Professor, IMSEC. His inspiring words reminded us of the importance of ethics and integrity in both personal and professional life.
The afternoon was all about fun and teamwork as the post-lunch session was dedicated to Club Activities, where students showcased their creativity and collaborative spirit!

DAY 5-FDP on Advanced Time Series and Panel Data Analysis

The final sessions of our enriching FDP brought advanced insights into dynamic time series models, guided by Dr. Gnanendra M from Christ (Deemed to be University). Participants explored multivariate modeling, ARDL, and VAR techniques, gaining hands-on experience with EViews.
The FDP concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Meenu Baliyan, HOD MBA, IMSEC. We extend our deepest gratitude to our esteemed speakers, Dr. Satish Kumar, Dr. Miklesh Prasad yadav, and Dr. Gnanendra M, for their valuable contributions. Their expertise has truly enhanced the research capabilities of our participants, equipping them to publish in top-tier journals and tackle cutting-edge data challenges.

Day 3 of FDP on Advanced Time Series and Panel Data Analysis
September 4th brought another productive day in our online FDP, focusing on Advanced Panel Data Techniques. Participants explored the complexities of Two-Year Panel Data, Diagnostic Testing in Static Panel Models, and endogeneity issues, guided by Dr. Miklesh Prasad yadav from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kakinada. The hands-on session with Gretl was particularly valuable, providing practical skills to enhance research capabilities.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Meenu Baliyan, HOD MBA at IMSEC. We're excited to continue this journey of learning tomorrow!
