IF YOUR CHILD IS APPEARING FOR THE BOARD EXAMS IN 2017 THEN PLEASE READ THIS AND SHARE.......
Dear Students
As your Board exams are approaching closer, your anxiety to perform will tend to show up now and then as your performance in exams to a great extent is going to decide your future. At this crucial time, it is important to take overall good care of yourself to increase your performance during exams. In order to stay focused and keep your concentration level high during your preparation time, it is important to keep the following things in mind.
You must take small and healthy meals after an interval of 2-3 hours as it will help you sustain your concentration level. Refrain from taking junk food or filling up your stomach too much as it will lead to drowsiness.
You must take much needed short breaks between your study times as it will freshen you up for the next topic. You might just want to relax or listen to music or speak to your mom or move around in your house. Snack break is a good break as eating itself gives you pleasure and relaxes you. Playing video games is not a good break as you may not want to leave your game in between and may lose track of time.
Sitting for long hours at your study desk may intensify the pressure. You can do some stretch out exercises to release the pressure which will bring back your concentration level.
It is important to set targets and reach as closely to those targets as possible. As you try to reach those targets, engage in some self-praise. Keep telling yourself that you are doing well and need to keep moving the same way.
Maintaining regularity is important as studying at the last hours does not help even in the case of most brilliant students.
Go through your prescribed texts in detail to get an insight into the content of the chapters. Practice regularly. Do not procrastinate.
Don't press the panic button even if you think there is a lot to be covered. Make the best possible use of the time available to you by preparing study schedule and setting priorities for different subjects.
Wishing you lots of luck!
