Setting traditions and celebrating milestones!

In a heart-warming ceremony, we came together to honour our incredible members of the NWS family, each marking a significant milestone in their dedicated service to education.

These milestones represent not just years of teaching, but a wealth of wisdom, countless lives touched, and a lasting legacy of excellence in education. As we celebrate 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service, we reflect on the unwavering commitment, passion, and perseverance our teachers have consistently demonstrated.

Teachers and support staff members, we are eternally grateful for all that you do!

From sharing their own handmade board games to exploring an outdoor game of Catch the Fish, children experienced how rules shape meaningful play.

They listened attentively, expressed their ideas confidently, and followed instructions with care — learning that rules support safety, fairness, and joyful experiences.

A beautiful blend of creativity, communication, and cooperation!

The classroom transformed into a space of discovery as our young learners explored pretend machines through imaginative play. By dressing up, role-playing, and experimenting with familiar machines, children expressed creativity, built understanding, and developed confidence—all while having fun. Learning came alive through exploration and shared experiences.

Our kindergarteners were welcomed into the IEYC Entry Point for the unit “My Toy Shop” with a box marked “Handle with Care”, instantly sparking curiosity and excitement.

Through predicting, observing, and sorting toys, the children explored classification, responsibility, and care for shared materials. Drawing, discussion, and role-play supported them in organising their own class toy shop—turning play into purposeful learning and setting the tone for the journey ahead.

A hands-on experience that nurtured curiosity, organisation skills, and thoughtful decision-making—learning through play at its best at Healthy Planet.

Nehru World School successfully concluded its pilot programme with Boys Who Write, giving students a powerful platform to explore creativity, voice, and self-expression.

Boys Who Write is a global non-profit that builds essential communication skills in boys through a virtual learning environment. Over six weeks, students worked on four creative projects. These were Songwriting, Podcasting, Arcade Designing, and Book Publishing. Each project was showcased on popular online platforms, while the students’ writing will be published soon as a collective anthology.

Rooted in the principles of positive masculinity, the programme empowered students to express their ideas thoughtfully, creatively, and with confidence.

Congratulations to Vanij Jain (Grade 5) on his commendable performance in chess, securing multiple positions across inter-school tournaments.

From placing 8th in the Vidhan Inter School Chess Championship (Under-15) to securing 1st position in the Mind Battle Inter School Chess Tournament (Under-10), Vanij’s journey reflects focus, strategy, and consistent effort.

We celebrate his dedication and wish him continued growth and many more milestones ahead.

As part of the “Blast Off! Space” journey, the children stepped into the universe at the Nehru Planetarium. Exploring planets, tracing constellations, and listening to stories of Earth and early humans, they experienced learning beyond four walls.

A day that deepened understanding, encouraged wonder, and invited big questions about the universe around us.

As we embark on 2026, let’s savour 2025 in our hearts as a year of evolving together while supporting and being there for each other, learning, achieving milestones and growing together! So, here’s sharing a few happy and rewarding moments from 2025.

Thank you, teachers, students, and parents, for the incredible support. 2025 was a year full of discoveries, innovations, and adventure. Packed with learnings, new friendships, recognition, and growth, it bolstered our base and strengthened our wings to spread wider and fly farther in 2026.

So, let’s step into the new year with the same zest for learning, growing, and excelling together! We hope 2026 is as exciting and gratifying as 2025. Grateful for such an enriching year and upbeat for the next one!
