Sewadham represents that aspect of broad Indian ethos where character building is an integral goal of society.
In 1985, impressed with educational projects being run by Sewa Bharti Delhi; Sh Jaswant and Amarnath Arora Ji, offered to donate 5 acre of land near Mandoli Village for setting up a residential school.Shri Vishnu Ji seized this opportunity to further the cause of educating children living in some of the poorest slums of Delhi, and thats when idea of "SEWADHAM" start taking shape. Akhand Bharat Diwas and Independence Day celebrated on 15 August 2013 in Sewa Dham.......Rally ,Flag Hoisting ,Cultural program followed by sweets to students.
A generous donation by a trust will help Sewadham become a proud owner of a full fledged basketball court soon.
Xth results were also out last month and much like last years, students again maintained. 100% results.
Overall 67 students appeared for Xth exams
Subjects: English, Sanskrit, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Hindi
19 students secured A grade with CGPA of 8.0 and above
24 students secured >60% marks or 1st division
Number of students with >90% in a subject
English: 11
Sanskrit: 35
Maths : 13
Science: 12
Social Study: 18
Sewadham students secured 100% results in CBSE XII exams this year. 15/25 secured 1st division and 10/25 secured 2nd division.
Ravi Kumar secured highest marks in Science with 86.4% and Aditya topped Arts section 83.4%; including 97 in History.
In all 37 distinction were attained by students.
Please congratulate them on this splendid performance.
Students of class 6th to 8th participated in National Math Olympiad for the first time and secured 2 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Conrgats!
