The HR & OB Club of IMT Ghaziabad began as HRuday in 2005, to supplement the institute’s efforts in creating industrious and adept HR professionals.

It was rebranded in 2016 as “ASBA HR & OB Committee”, and later came to be known as THROB. VISION
Being an interface between the students and the corporate world, to imbibe and strengthen people management & leadership competencies. MISSION
THROB organizes series of activities for future managers to help them build on their people management & leadership competencies by organizing B-School competitions, to sharpen the people management skills. We also hold an annual HR conclave to bridge the gap between students' expectations and corporate realities. We also release a quarterly newsletter, to give insights about internship and placement opportunities, and organize events such as GD Forum to brush up students' skills helpful in their professional career. We strive to obtain short-term projects (STPs) from various prominent organizations for the students. The club organizes also various intra- and inter- B-School events, that offer knowledge-sharing between corporate heads, academicians, and students of various B-Schools from all specializations, and provide a platform for the students to prove themselves among students from all over the world. THROB also releases a newsletter "INTERNSHIP INSIGHTS" for 1st-year students to give them an overall picture of each field (Marketing, Finance, Consulting, HR). Reach us @

A story sticks in our minds and helps us to remember the ideas in a way no PowerPoint with bar graphs can do. 'AD ABSURDIA' was just a small effort to rekindle that storyteller among ourselves, and we thank our sponsors for backing us proudly throughout the journey.

After the initial screening round, Top 5 participants were selected for the final round, and they presented themselves before our eminent judge Dr Vijay Lakshmi Singh, HR&OB Faculty, IMT Ghaziabad as "Why they deserve to be the best storyteller?"

Finally, we got the best storytellers (Karan Pimpale- Winner, Bishal Bagaria & Nish*ta Bengani- Runner-ups) after a head to head battle among the top 5 finalists. We wish each one of them, great success ahead. We are extremely confident to come up with more such exciting events and learn while having fun at the same time.
