Meetings should be like salt - a spice sprinkled carefully to enhance a dish, not poured recklessly over every forkful. They say that too much salt destroys a dish but every Toastmasters meetings builds up morale and motivation.
On Sunday, 1st of July 2018 , Crossing Republic Toastmasters Club new officers for the term July-Dec 2018 were installed officially. The venue was same but the environment was different, aroma and freshness was very different than usual. It was so very special and memorable. It was not just the routine meeting -Today was the time to celebrate and welcome the new EC. It takes a lot of people to make a winning team and everybody's contribution is important.
The meeting was opened by TM Gajendra Singh officially and then handed over to the person who puts her heart and soul and is committed to the club 24*7, TM Amiliyaa Syed (Immediate Past President and Area Director - C4).
TM Amiliyaa was the TMOD and her theme was just resembling her "Commitment". She made us realize the importance of commitment and its values. It was a great learning experience for all.
Variety of speeches followed after it which enthralled the audience. Table topic master was TM Meenu Goyal who took us back to our childhood with fun filled table topics, which thrilled every toastmaster and guest present. The guest and the toastmasters participated enthusiastically..
The most significant part of the meeting was when TM Amiliyaa presided as the Installation Officer for the day. She first relieved previous EC of their duties officially and the installed the each EC members. TM Gajendra addressed the club for the first time as President and the later TM Amiliyaa gave her IPP address to the club as outgoing President.
The EC took oath to serve the club for the term and help the Club and it’s members grow. This ceremony was concluded by cutting the cake with the promise to take the club to the greatest heights. It was the proud moment for all of us.
A champion needs the motivation above and beyond winning, so heartiest congratulations to all the EC and CRTC.
Curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning, so let’s come together and make the club "Success"

As Chris Hadfield said, "Ultimately leadership is not about glorious crowning acts. It's about keeping your team focused on a goal and motivated to do their best to achieve it, especially when the stakes are high and the consequences really matter. It is about laying the groundwork for others' success, and then standing back and letting them shine."

Crossings Republik Toastmasters Club is extremely proud and feels privileged to have charismatic, motivating and role model leaders amongst us.

Dipender Singh DTM, TM Manpreet Kaur and TM Amiliyaa Syed are the always the guiding light and our support system, throughout. They constantly inspire us by not being a leader by titles but by living it in their actions and display in by right attitude.
