WHAT IS IELTS???
The international English language testing system (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration, with over 2 million tests taken in the last year. . It is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP- Australia and University of Cambridge ESOL EXAMINATIONS.
IELTS assesses all of your English skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking, and is designed to reflect how you will use English at study, at work, and at play, in your new life abroad.
The IELTS test is developed by some of the world’s leading experts in language assessment. It has an excellent international reputation, and is accepted by over 9,000 organisations worldwide, including schools, universities, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies.
IELTS has two types of modules - Academic and General Training. Academic Module is required to be given by students who plan to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. While, General Training Module is generally a prerequisite for the people who either want to pursue vocational studies or plan to immigrate.

5 Useful tips for students appearing for their Board exams
Tip #1
Cramming doesn't work. If you've followed a study plan, the night before the exam you should do a quick review and get to bed early. Remember, your brain and body need sleep to function well, so don't stay up late!
Tip #2
Check the venue and time of the exam to make sure that you have not confused the day/time/venue. Before leaving home, check that you have everything that you will need – ID, stationery etc. Head to the exam with plenty of time. A lot of unexpected events can happen on your way there and you do not want to be late!
Tip #3
At the exam center there would be people around who are panicking, avoid them. They are not doing you any favour! Don't get worried or frustrated. A positive attitude goes a long way toward success.
Tip #4
Manage Your Time. Scan through the test paper quickly before starting. Answering the easy questions first can be a time saver and a confidence builder. Plus, it saves more time in the end for you to focus on the hard stuff.
Tip #5
I'm Done!
Not so fast - when you complete the last item on the paper, remember that you're not done yet. First, check the clock and go back to review your answers, making sure that you didn't make any careless mistakes.
Follow these test tips, and you'll know you did your best- ALL THE BEST!!!!!!
