On Thursday, 1st May 2025, our school celebrated Labour Day with great enthusiasm! 🙏 As a token of appreciation, students brought small gifts for our hardworking staff members:

*Bajaj Capitals Drawing Competition at Our School*

We are thrilled to announce that Bajaj Capitals recently organized a drawing competition at our school! The event took place on Wednesday, 16th April 2025, and was a huge success.

Our students showcased their creativity and artistic skills, thoroughly enjoying the competition and having a great time. The participants were provided with worksheets and enthusiastically brought their imagination to life through their artwork.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bajaj Capitals for bringing such a fun and creative experience to our school. We appreciate their efforts in encouraging our students to express themselves through art.

* Baisakhi Celebration at Vidya International School 🎉*

On April 11, 2025, Vidya International School's pre-primary wing students celebrated Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and joy 😊. The children dressed in traditional Punjabi attire 👗, and danced to Punjabi songs with their teachers 🕺.

The celebration was a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with our rich cultural heritage 🌟.

_Mahavir Jayanti Celebration at Vidya International School_

On April 10, 2025, Vidya International School celebrated Mahavir Janma with great enthusiasm and fervor. The students and teachers gathered to mark the birth of Lord Mahavir, the founder of Jainism.

Our teachers delivered inspiring speeches in both Hindi and English, highlighting the life and teachings of Lord Mahavir. They emphasized the importance of his principles, such as:

- अहिंसा परमो धर्म (Ahimsa Paramo Dharma) - Non-violence is the highest duty
- सत्य (Satya) - Truth
- अस्तेय (Asthaya) - Non-stealing
- ब्रह्मचर्य (Brahmacharya) - Self-control
- अपरिग्रह (Aparigraha) - Non-attachment

The students and teachers also recited the Namokar Mantra, paying tribute to the five supreme beings in Jainism:

नमो अरिहंताणं
नमो सिद्धाणं
नमो आयरियाणं
नमो उवज्झायाणं
नमो लोए सव्व साहूणं

The celebration was a great learning experience for our students, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share the teachings of Lord Mahavir with them.
