August 29,2023. Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Vidya Mandir celebrated World Sports Day on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Renowned Personality, Major Dhya Chand. Traditional Games were organised in the school. Boys and Girls Students were invited in different time slots. Students played games under the guidance of different co-ordinators. Kshtriya Sangathan Mantri Shri Domeshwar Sahu Ji was the Cheif Guest of the programme. He told the students about the importance of traditional games. Vidya Bharti Akhil Bhartiya Mantri Dr. Kishanveer Singh Shakya motivated the students to learn while playing. Opening of the programme took place with an inspiring speech by District Sports Officer Ms.Poonam Bisnoi.It was an innovative approach by Physical Department of the school. Chairman Sir Sh. Radhey Shyam Gupta Ji, Vice Principal Ms.Rama Ji and complete staff was present on the occasion.

Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Vidya Mandir organised training sessions on July 11,2023. First session was taken by Mr.Deepak Ji (T.G T. Science). His topic was Learning Outcomes. It was in the form of Group Discussion. He highlighted the main points of Learning Outcomes. He told the difference between Learning Outcomes and Learning Objectives through an activity. Second session was about Action Research. This session taken by Bhubnesh Ji, school counsellor. She told about the need and usefulness of action research . She also discussed the various steps to be carried out to perform action research. She cleared doubts different aspects. She also told about questionnaire, a ready made assignment, to detect the aggressive attitude of students. Both the sessions were motivating and useful to the teachers.

The school organised an International webinar on Enrichment of Knowledge Systems through cultural inclusion and integrated approach of education with traditional learning and modern techniques on 25 June 2023. The webinar has Guest Speakers , Guests and participants from
Various countries. The resource persons who represented school in the webinar were Ms. Rama Sharma , Ms. Ila Julka , Ms. Sonia Sharma and Mr. Deepak Verma . The technical support was handled by Ms. Priyanka Tyagi ji and Gulshan Kumar ji .

The webinar began with the divine Saraswati Vandana followed by introduction of Guest Speakers and Guests .
The overview of webinar was presented by Honourable Principal Sh. Jagdish Raghuvanshi ji. After the webinar overview , the session was followed by exploration of evolution of knowledge systems around the globe in the past . Ms. Rama Sharma took the webinar forward by presenting in depth details of valuable knowledge and culture transfer under valid knowledge systems . She further explained that knowledge systems do transfer culture along with knowledge . She then proceeded to the great repository of Indian knowledge systems and it’s relevance for all the countries world wide. Moving onto the next part Mr. Deepak Verma took the webinar ahead with his presentation in reference to ancient system of education in India . He gave nice exploration of various subjects , skills and best practices of education in ancient India .
The webinar was taken further by Ms. Ila Julka who threw light on Old but Gold practices of India.

Connecting the webinar to modern learning techniques and initiatives like G20 with special reference to education , Ms. Sonia Sharma elaborated G20 Educational Initiatives and India ‘a contribution .

It was followed by a short documentary shown on NEP 2020 initiatives being implemented in the school .

The webinar witnessed enthusiastic participation of Guest Speakers . Dr. Babita Patnaik , an occupation therapist from USA shared insight on strategies to improve students learning .

Ms . Isabel H Langtry , Principal of Hamstead School of Art presented role of art in students life .

Mr. Vinod Nair , faculty from NID , Bangalore explained strategies for sustainable design thinking for students .

Ms. Srividya Bhartiya shared her views on marketing techniques .

Mr. Thamilarasu Subramaniam, head master from Malaysia explained the concept of inclusive education.

The programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Bhumija Dipti Panchal who provided ample support for the webinar.

The webinar was attended by teachers , international guest and esteemed members of management committee of the school .

International Yoga Day-21-06-2023

The 15 days Summer Camp held at Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Sahibabad came to end on 7 June 2023 . In the Summer camp there were various activities for students like Music, Dance, English Communication, Sports , Art and Craft, Yoga , Shooting, Coding , Beauty and Wellness, Video Recording and Editing, Vedic Maths etc. More than 700 students participated in the summer camp as per their interest. They were mentored by the teachers.

The valedictory function of the camp held on 7 June 2023 in the school hall . The programme was graced by Hon’ble Chief Guest Sh. Ravi Raghuvanshi ji , DIG ( ITBP) and the esteemed members of School Management Committee , Sh. Virender Sharma ji , Manager , Dr. Alok Aggarwal ji , Deputy Manager and Sh. Keshav Kumar ji , Sh. Kailash Raghav ji and Sh. Devendra Ji .

The Programme began by lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Guest. The programmes included Guru Vandana , English Play , Debate , yoga presentation , Group Song , Instrumental Music presentation, Beauty and Wellness act. The Programme got colourful hues with vibrant Rajasthani folk dance .

The chief guest appreciated the efforts of students and encouraged the idea of skill enrichment in school through such joyous camps.

Sh. Virender Sharma ji , Manager of School Management Committee praised students and teachers for successful culmination of such wonderful summer camp.

The programme ended with Vote of thanks proposed by Hon’ble Principal Sh. Jagdish Raghuvanshi ji.
