Teaching numerator and Denominator is a task for teachers/tutors. Here is a trick you can use it.

As a tutor we should teach all the concepts with an activity. Fraction activity is given in the picture.

Start with numerator and Denominator concept. Use trick and teach them what is numerator and what is Denominator.

Then Instruct the children to paste the circle fraction accordingly.

At last give them the worksheet to do.

Children having learning issues will enjoy those activities and remember the concept for long time.

🌈Teaching difference between b and d, m & w is very difficult task. Children make mistake not only writing those word but in reading also.

🌈 Children having SLD also make mistake in both reading and writing.

❓️What is the difference between counting and meaninful counting? ❓️

🔴So must have seen that some kids know counting till 100, but if you will ask them how many fingers/toffees are there they will stuck. Or if you will ask them give me 5 pencil they will feel difficulty.

So Counting is normal like our kids do 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
✳️Meaningful counting means when the child know what is the meaning of 1? 1 means 1 thing 2 means 2 things.
✳️Meaningful counting is very important for teaching addition subtraction.

❓️How to teach? ❓️
1️⃣Use waste cardboard to draw numbers.
2️⃣inside the numbers make dots for tracing.
3️⃣Tell them count
4️⃣Then trace
5️⃣Tell them to draw circles according to the number
6️⃣Instruct them to put things according to the number.

Topic - Blending

Teaching blending is difficult task. Sometimes kids don't want to show interest in that specially children having difficulty/Disability in learning. Activity can make this task easy.

👩‍💻How to teach🧑‍💻

🎈Make a TLM with waste board.
Write blending on there( shared in the pictures).

🎈Read those blending with your child.

🎈Make/pronounce those blending word funny. (Like grrrrrrrrr, drrrrrrr,trrrrrr)

🎈Children will enjoy those words when pronounce them in a funny way.

🎈Then write blending words on a page, again read them with your child.

🎈At last provide them worksheet in which words should be written (like given above picture).
Tell them to write only blending words.

Board exams are stressful for children with learning problems. With the children parents also have a lot of queries related to exams, question paper pattern, concessions and so many other things.

Even though that stress starts with class 8th or 9th, how my child will cope up, how s/he will write the answers, will s/he be able to understand the questions, will they get any assistance and many more question are there.
