Independence Day Celebrations– Kindergarten to Class V

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day of India, the school organised a series of engaging and patriotic activities for students from the Kindergarten section to Classes III–V. The celebrations provided young learners with meaningful opportunities to showcase their talents while developing a sense of patriotism and pride in the nation.

The Nursery students participated in a Fancy Dress Activity, where they dressed up as different personalities and characters associated with Independence Day. Their adorable presentations reflected their enthusiasm and introduced them to the significance of the national celebration in an enjoyable manner.

The LKG students participated in a Solo Singing Activity, presenting patriotic songs individually with great confidence and enthusiasm. Their melodious performances created a joyful and patriotic atmosphere.

The UKG students participated in a Patriotic Speech Activity. Dressed as inspiring personalities, they confidently delivered short five-line speeches on Independence Day, expressing their love for the country in their own simple and heartfelt words.

The students of Classes I and II participated in a Solo Patriotic Dance Competition, showcasing their energy, creativity and patriotic spirit through captivating dance performances.

For the students of Classes III to V, a Solo Patriotic Singing Competition was organised. The participants presented a variety of patriotic songs with confidence and enthusiasm, paying tribute to the brave freedom fighters whose courage and sacrifices paved the way for a free India.

The celebrations across all age groups beautifully blended learning, creativity and patriotism. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the occasion vibrant and memorable, while reinforcing the values of love for the nation, courage, unity and gratitude towards the freedom fighters.

The Independence Day Special Assembly was conducted with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm by the students of Class IX, paying a heartfelt tribute to the brave freedom fighters who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation and paved the way for us to live in a free India.

The assembly beautifully portrayed the struggle for freedom and the courage, sacrifice and unwavering patriotism of our national heroes. Through meaningful presentations, the students reminded everyone of the priceless freedom we enjoy today and the responsibility we carry as citizens of the nation.
The patriotic spirit continued with a soul-stirring group song, which filled the assembly area with pride and love for the motherland. The melodious performance created an atmosphere of unity and national pride.

Following the special assembly, a Patriotic Solo Singing Competition was organised for the students of Classes VI–VIII. The young participants showcased their talent and patriotic spirit through a vibrant array of patriotic songs. Their confident performances reflected their love for the nation and added to the festive spirit of Independence Day.

The programme was a memorable celebration of freedom, sacrifice, patriotism and national unity, leaving the audience inspired to cherish the freedom earned through the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters and to contribute towards building a stronger India.

GANITGYANAM – Maths Week Begins with Enthusiasm!

Maths Week commenced on a vibrant note with the gracious inauguration by our esteemed Sir Principal and Ma'am Head Mistress, who unveiled the theme "GANITGYANAM."

Day 1 began with an inspiring video, "Numbers Around Us," followed by a heartfelt student performance celebrating the beauty and importance of Mathematics in everyday life.

Our Grade 1 learners enthusiastically participated in the Number Ninjas Activity, engaging in exciting number challenges that strengthened their number sense, focus and confidence through joyful learning.
Meanwhile, Grade 2 students showcased remarkable speed, teamwork and mental agility in the Maths Relay Race, solving quick sums and completing number patterns with great enthusiasm.
A wonderful beginning to a week dedicated to making Mathematics fun, creative and meaningful for every child!

Parental Orientation Programme – Class IX

St. Thomas School, Sahibabad, successfully conducted the Parental Orientation Programme for Class IX on 1 August, 2026 to familiarise parents with the revised CBSE curriculum introduced for the academic session 2026–27.
The session provided a comprehensive overview of the new curriculum framework, assessment pattern, subject structure, and key academic expectations. Parents were guided through the significant changes introduced by CBSE, enabling them to better understand the evolving educational approach and support their children effectively.

An interactive question-and-answer session followed, during which parents shared their queries and concerns. All doubts were addressed with clarity and patience by the school faculty. The Principal, Mr. Dious Mathai also interacted with the parents, offering valuable insights into the curriculum reforms and helping resolve their concerns with thoughtful guidance and reassurance.

The orientation concluded on a positive note, strengthening the partnership between the school and parents while reaffirming the shared commitment to providing every student with a meaningful, future-ready learning experience.

ANVESHAN 2026 | Day 3

The third day of ANVESHAN 2026 came alive with Jungle Safari – Show and Tell for Classes I & II

Our young learners confidently stepped into the roles of scientists, animals, Mother Earth, and plants, sharing interesting facts through expressive presentations. Dressed in colourful costumes, they showcased creativity, confidence and effective communication while spreading awareness about nature, wildlife, environmental conservation and the importance of scientific thinking.

The activity nurtured curiosity, built self-confidence and inspired students to appreciate and protect the world around them.

Trash to Trendy Ramp Walk Competition

Who says waste has no value?
Our young creators proved otherwise by showcasing stunning outfits, elegant ornaments, stylish handbags and innovative accessories made from recycled and waste materials.

With confidence, enthusiasm and grace, the students of Class III walked the ramp, beautifully demonstrating that sustainability and fashion can go hand in hand. Their confidence, expressions and stage presence made every moment memorable while spreading the message of environmental responsibility.

The event was followed by a thought-provoking Street Play on the theme "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle," where students delivered a powerful message on environmental conservation through their energetic and impactful performance.

International Tiger Day Celebration – KG Wing

Our little learners celebrated International Tiger Day with great enthusiasm, spreading the important message of "Save Tigers, Save Nature."
Through fun-filled activities and interactive discussions, the children learned about the significance of tigers in maintaining ecological balance and the need to protect these magnificent creatures and their natural habitats.

Science Week – ANVESHAN 2026 began with the grand unveiling of the event name, marking the beginning of an exciting week dedicated to curiosity, innovation and scientific exploration.

The celebration continued with a vibrant dance performance by our talented students, adding energy and enthusiasm to the inaugural ceremony.

The Brainy Lab Contest for Classes IV & V then marked an exciting start to the week's competitions. Our young scientists showcased remarkable curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking through engaging experiments and hands-on challenges.

The event encouraged critical thinking, innovation and a love for science while fostering a healthy spirit of competition. The enthusiasm and confidence displayed by the participants truly reflected the spirit of exploration and discovery.
