The Annual Sports Day of DAV Public School, NTPC Talaipalli was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Akhilesh Singh, Head of Project, NTPC, along with distinguished guests including V. C. Dubey,Vice Chairman of DAV NTPC, Bijay Kumar Swain, Head of the HR Department, NTPC Talaipalli, Neelkamal Jhariya, Sangeeta Singh, President of the Tilottama Women’s Committee; and Manisha Agarwal, Vice President.

The Sports Day began with the unfurling of the school flag, followed by an impressive march-past by students from the Atharvaveda, Samaveda, Rigveda, and Yajurveda houses.

The torch was then lit by Akhilesh Singh, marking the official beginning of the event. He praised the students' sporting spirit and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the teachers, under the guidance of the Principal, in organising diverse events.

The Principal, Rajkumar Sharma, highlighted the enthusiasm of the students, outlined the various competitions, and motivated all participants to compete with zeal and confidence.

DAV Public School NTPC Talaipalli conducted the "Run for DAV" event, 2 km run (Run for Fun) aimed at promoting health, fitness, national values and holistic development among students.
