K.V.NO-1 GAYA Imparting Quality Education Since 1967 Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Gaya is one of the Model and pace-setting institutions of Patna Region, Patna.

This is a very old and prestigious institution set up by Late Bhagwan Prasad, a president awardees in the year 1964, with the name of city school and Rajendra Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya earned name and fame and was taken over by the Government of India under the Ministry of Human resources and Development in the Year 1967. Since then the Vidyalaya has been imparting quality education and is consider

ed to be one of the best Vidyalayas of the region in almost every discipline. It is equipped with all the modern facilities. This Vidyalaya can safely boast of having a lot of computers and Junior Science Lab. With the best team of teachers and Computer instructors. Our students take part in all the activities organized at the Vidyalaya level, district level and regional level. The participants of our Vidyalaya come off with flying colours. As a mark of honour to the school, Red cross society has installed the statue of the founder Principal of the Vidyalaya, Late Bhagwan Prasad. Through various activities, the children of the Vidyalaya are afforded opportunities to demonstrate their skills in various categories and for there all round development as well. We inculcate in them all the good virtues of human existence.
