On May 16–17, 2026, the classrooms turned into learning hubs for the teachers themselves. REGIONAL TRAINING CENTRE, DAV PUBLIC SCHOOLS, BR ZONE – E (Under the aegis of DAV CAE, DAV CMC, New Delhi – 55), successfully organized an intensive Two-Day Capacity Building Program at DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, CANTT. AREA, GAYA JEE aimed at redefining classroom dynamics, sharpening professional skills, and integrating cutting-edge teaching methodologies.

The event kicked off with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony followed by Gaytri Mantras and DAV Gaan, bringing together the leading minds of the zone. The ceremony was graced by Ms. Anjali, ARO cm Training Coordinator, BR Zone E, Mr. Govid Jee Tiwari, Cluster Head, RTC Manpur, Principals from different DAV Public Schools and expert Master Trainers.

Addressing the gathering, the Cluster Head reminded everyone why continuous training matters: Workshops like these are not just about upgrading skills; they are about reimagining the student experience.

The ARO cm Training Coordinator reinforced this vision, reminding the gathered School Heads, Master Trainers, and educators that a teacher’s learning journey never truly ends. During her interaction, she stressed that continuous professional development is the key to creating dynamic, evolving classrooms.

The atmosphere was vibrant as approximately 490 teachers from various DAV Public Schools gathered for the event. Rejecting conventional lecture methods, expert Master Trainers conducted highly interactive, subject-specific workshops covering Languages, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer Science, Physical Education, Art & Craft, Music and Life Skills.

The training focused mainly on Competency-Based Education, Experiential Learning, Effective Lesson Planning and Integration of Technology in education. Teachers stepped out of their comfort zones, actively diving into vibrant group discussions, hands-on presentations, and collaborative problem-solving activities.

The program wrapped up with an interactive feedback session where teachers shared their insights and experiences. By focusing on a learner-centric approach, the workshop did more than just train; it inspired. Around 500 educators returned to their respective DAV schools with renewed passion, fresh perspectives, and a toolkit full of innovative ideas to make learning deeply meaningful for their students.

From deep dives into Competency-Based Education to mastering tech integration and experiential learning, our educators are leveling up their skills to make classroom learning more meaningful, interactive, and learner-oriented.
