Students of Grade 2 learned the concepts of Place Value and Face Value through an engaging and interactive classroom activity. They practised identifying the value of each digit in different numbers and developed a better understanding of number sense.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed every year on 26 July to commemorate India’s victory in the Kargil War of 1999 against Pakistan. On this day, the Indian Armed Forces successfully recaptured all the strategic positions occupied by enemy forces in the Kargil sector of Jammu & Kashmir after weeks of intense fighting under Operation Vijay.

The day is a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the brave soldiers who laid down their lives to protect the nation’s sovereignty. Across the country, wreath-laying ceremonies, memorial events, and tributes are organized to honor the martyrs and express gratitude to the armed forces.
