Glaucoma में आंख का Intra Ocular Pressure बढ़ जाता हैं जिससे Patient की नजर का Vision Peripheri Vision धीर धीर low होने लगता हैं loss होने लगता हैं। Glaucoma में IOP Power बढ़ जाता है, Optic disk cupping होने लगती हैं, और Field of Vision loss होने लगता हैं। Optic Nerve सूखने लगती हैं। इसमें Normal Tension Glaucoma में Eye का Pressure 21mmhg होता हैं, मतलब IOP ज्यादा बढ़ा नहीं होता हैं थोड़ा बढ़ा होता हैं और Optic nerve, Optic disk पर भी कोई असर नहीं पड़ता। तब हम इसको Hypertension Glaucoma कहते हैं।
