In order to bring out the creative talents of students and celebrate the Festival of Lights in its true spirit the Diya Decoration activity for all the grades was held at Shemford School.
The main objective of this activity was to explore the students’ imagination and creativity. Most of the students participated enthusiastically in the competition. They displayed their creativity by beautifully decorating earthen Diyas with colours and the works.
This activity helps in developing imagination, creativity, enthusiasm to explore, enhance cognitive skills, helps children to recognise different colours and enhance emotional bonding with parents.

Diya making Activity was held on 18th of October for all grades. The main purpose of this activity was to explore the students imagination ,creativity and celebrate the Festival of Lights in its true spirit. All students participated enthusiastically in the activity. The students displayed their creativity by beautifully making the Diyas . It was sheer and a great experience for all our students.

To make children aware about the festival of Dussehra.
It is worth knowing that children can acquire a vast range of skills from art and craft sessions. Their creativity is enhanced , their fine motor skills are refined, confidence and problem-solving abilities are improved, and we get to spend some fun time together.
When our school activity area are turning into a crafting mess at that point of time we are learning some important skills and life lessons. Shemstars did ‘Ravana’s face mask’ activity where they decorated Ravana’s crown and pasted big mustaches of ravan with craft material. Children were told about the festival of Dussehra that how and why it is celebrated .They all were full of joy and happiness and were excited to celebrate this festival. Children decorated and assembled different craft materials and made their masterpieces with utmost care.
KEY TAKEAWAY EXPECTED:Children will understand the importance of the festival of Dussehra and will also enhance their creativity by doing craft work.

The school had organized a fancy dress competition on Ramayana theme for the little ones in the school. The purpose of which was to make the children aware of the life of Shri Ram.
Ramayana teach us myriad of values .It is based on the principles of – truth, morality, and honouring one’s word .The Ramayana is a tale of the triumph of good over evil, where Lord Rama fought and killed the demon king Ravana to rescue his wife, Sita. The epic is filled with lessons about Hindu culture and also helps us understand the true meaning of love, devotion, courage, and bravery. In which the children enthusiastically participated.
Somebody became Ram and some Sita had come as Hanuman ji. After Ravan dahan school inspired the children to rise to the heights by sacrificing jealousy, discrimination, ego, hatred, anger from mind and life.

Today is the birth anniversary of two of India's greatest leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, who were instrumental in India's freedom struggle. Both Mahatma Gandhi, and Lal Bahadur Shastri's lives are exemplary and a source of motivation for students. Both these men are known to exhibit clarity and calmness even in situations that created panic. Their clarity of thoughts and resolve to act is something we can learn from.
From Mahatma Gandhi, one essential value that we can learn is discipline. A disciplined life is a necessity for us . A simple time-table can prove to do wonders for us, specially those who are often running behind deadlines.
Lal Bahadur Shastri was a simple man who believed in action. While his simplicity is something that a student should definitely learn from, another thing to learn is his composure even in drastic situations. To have a calm mind can help students tackle problems easily and is a desirable quality in all situations.
