Today, a delegation from ICMAI Guwahati met with Shri G.M. Kamei, Principal Commissioner of CGST & Central Excise, Guwahati, and held a fruitful discussion on the Institute and the Cost and Management Accounting profession.

Today, a delegation from ICMAI, Guwahati had the privilege of meeting and felicitating Shri Somnath Ganguli, Hon'ble Vice President and Judicial Member of the GSTAT, Guwahati Bench, along with Shri Jogiranjan Panigrahi, Hon'ble Technical Member (Centre), GSTAT, Guwahati Bench.

The interaction provided an excellent opportunity for meaningful discussions on the Institute and the Cost and Management Accounting profession, as well as the role of CMAs as key stakeholders in the GSTAT framework. Deliberations also covered avenues for student internships at GSTAT, the development of court-craft and advocacy skills, and several other matters of mutual professional interest.

The meeting was highly insightful and reinforced the spirit of collaboration between the GSTAT and the professional community in advancing excellence in tax adjudication and professional education.
