The Women's Conclave 2025, successfully hosted at Gauhati University, focused on the theme "Viksit Bharat @2047: Strengthening Nari Shakti for National Development and Leadership." This event was a collaborative effort, organized by the CTEF-Assam Chapter in partnership with the Department of Education, Gauhati University; Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, Mahila Ayam, UAP; and Rashtra Sevika Samiti, UAP. The conclave was powered by Antariksh Information Technology.
This significant gathering highlighted the crucial role of women in fostering India's advancement and leadership on the global stage. The proceedings began with an address delivered by Prof. Nilima Bhagabati, Chairperson of the CTEF Assam Chapter. The inaugural session was further distinguished by an inspiring keynote speech from Dr. Bibhash Chandra Das Purkayastha, former Principal of Pandu College.
Sri Sankar Das Kalita, Kshetra Boudhik Pramukh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Uttar Purba Bharat, graced the event as the Chief Guest. He articulated that genuine women's empowerment must be firmly rooted in responsibility, a commitment to collective welfare, and dedicated nation-building efforts. The conclave saw the participation of numerous dignitaries and stakeholders from various organizations, including representatives from the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India.
