Anxiety is a feeling of nervousness, unease, or worry that typically occurs in the absence of an imminent threat. It can be normal in stressful situations such as public speaking or taking a test. But, excessive and persistent worry, fear or anxiety can build up and show up as something else in a child.
It is very important to not put too much pressure on the children; especially at the time of growing up. School work and education is important, but it must not be at the cost of a child's innocence.
Often teachers and parents put too much pressure unknowingly, while trying to motivate the child to strive for the best performance. This is not wrong to do; but when repeated frequently, it puts an invisible burden on the child's subconscious which may be the reason for a toxic anxiety disorder in the future.
