Extremely happy and proud of our Ph.D. scholars Mallampalli Krishna Chaitanya and Nandita Bhanja Chaudhuri, who recently defended their thesis gracefully.

Chaitanya worked in the area of Occupational health and successfully addressed Musculoskeletal disorders of cashew nut industries. He published research work in journals like Journal of Industrial and Production Engineering.

Nandita worked in the area of computational creativity. Her work was published in journals like Neural computing and applications, Expert systems with applications etc.

Many Congratulations to Dr. Mallampalli Chaitanya and Dr. Nandita Bhanja Chaudhuri to the well-deserved feat.

Dr. Debayan Dhar of UE-HCI Lab, Department of Design, IIT Guwahati and Dr. Hari Prabhat Gupta of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT BHU are looking for candidates from Computer Science/ Design with strong interest in AI and ML for the Joint Doctoral Program to be offered by IIT Guwahati and IIT BHU in the area of AI and Design.

Nandita submitted her phd thesis in the area of AI and Design. She will be joining as an Assistant Professor soon at an University at Hyderabad. We met today to see her off. All the best nandita as you start a new chapter in your life.
