Cyber Security Awareness Workshop โ Technical Session | Phase II
Date: 21st November 2025
Sharing glimpses from the Second (Technical) Session of the Workshop on Cyber Security Awareness, organized under the ISEA Project, MeitY, Government of India, by the Department of Forensic Science, Royal School of Life Sciences, The Assam Royal Global University.
The session was conducted by Mr. Sai Krishna, Project Engineer โ Cybersecurity, C-DAC CINE Centre, who delivered an engaging and technically enriching lecture on contemporary cyber threats, safe digital practices, cyber hygiene, and real-world incident scenarios.
His session provided participants with practical insights into identifying cyber risks, strengthening personal and institutional cybersecurity measures, and understanding the importance of proactive digital safety in todayโs interconnected ecosystem.

Pleased to share glimpses from the Inaugural Session of the Workshop on Cyber Security Awareness, organized under the ISEA Project, MeitY, Government of India, by the Department of Forensic Science, Royal School of Life Sciences, The Assam Royal Global University.
We were honoured to have Dr. Robin Kumar Singh, IPS, Director, Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam, as the Chief Guest. His insightful address on the evolving landscape of cyber threats, digital evidence, and forensic preparedness added immense value to the deliberations.
The session marked a strong beginning to a knowledge-driven initiative aimed at sensitizing students and stakeholders towards cyber safety, digital responsibility, and forensic readiness in the modern digital ecosystem.

It is a proud moment for the Department of Forensic Science, The Assam Royal Global University as faculty members of the department (Mr. Benex K. Babu, Ms. Meghna Bordoloi, Ms. Harsh*ta Shekhawat, and Dr. Pundarikaksha Das) have published their research article titled โForensic identification of post-chewed smokeless to***co using ATR-FTIR and chemometric approachesโ in the reputed journal Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Bimolecular Spectroscopy.
The journal is indexed in Scopus (Q2) and has an Impact Factor of 4.6, highlighting its global scientific credibility.
The study demonstrates the forensic relevance of ATR-FTIR spectroscopy combined with chemometric techniques for the identification of post-chewed smokeless to***co, strengthening trace evidence examination in forensic investigations.

The Workshop on Cyber Security Awareness under the ISEA Project, MeitY, Government of India was successfully conducted at The Assam Royal Global University.
