IIT Guwahati proudly awards the Young Alumni Achiever Award 2025 to Himanshu Upreti (B.Tech, Mathematics | 2011–15), Co-founder of Ai Palette.

Himanshu Upreti is the Co-founder and CTO of Ai Palette, an AI-powered deep-tech startup founded in 2018 that enables global CPG brands to accelerate product innovation using patented Generative AI and Agentic AI technology. He led a team of over 50 members and scaled the company to 27 markets across six continents, serving leading clients such as Nestlé, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Kellogg’s, before its acquisition by GlobalData Plc in 2025. Ai Palette raised millions of dollars in funding from prominent global investors, including Singapore Government, Pi Ventures, Exfinity Ventures, Entrepreneurs First and other strategic venture capital firms and angel investors. Himanshu has been recognized in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, with his work featured in CNBC and TechCrunch. Prior to Ai Palette, he worked at Visa Data Labs, where he played a key role in restructuring Visa’s technology stack and filed two trade secrets.

We at SAIL, in collaboration with Cadence, are excited to present a two-day Ball Dance Workshop leading up to the Graduation Ball!

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, this workshop is here to help you learn the basics of partner dancing and simple ballroom steps just in time for the big night.
