Chennai Horror: Assam Native Ameer Ali Killed, Dismembered; Wife and Friend Arrested

A shocking murder case has emerged from Chennai, where 40-year-old Ameer Ali, a native of Assam, was allegedly killed, dismembered, and his body parts disposed of at different locations across the city. The case came to light on June 5 after a suitcase containing a human torso was found near a staircase on Platform No. 4 of Perambur Railway Station. Railway Police launched an investigation after commuters reported a foul smell coming from the abandoned suitcase.

According to Chennai Police, investigators traced a medical waste disposal bag found with the remains to a private hospital in Teynampet. The breakthrough helped police identify the victim as Ameer Ali and uncover details of the crime. Police have arrested Ruheema, the victim’s wife, and her friend Ashraf Ali, both reportedly from Assam, in connection with the murder. The accused allegedly worked by assisting outstation patients travelling to Chennai for medical treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
