IITG Alumni Association (IITGAA) - Get to know the office bearers – Mr. Saikrishna Budamgunta (President IITGAA – India Chennai Chapter)
Sai is from Gudur Town (close to Chennai) in the South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and did his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IITG between 2002-06.
Sai has always been driven to setup science and technology eco-systems in India and to see this vision as a reality, Sai worked in the Indian Civil Services as an Indian Revenue Service Officer and served in the PMO in various roles as well till 2020.
Sai continue to invest and support in causes that further the scientific spirit and deep tech causes in the country. Sai lives in Chennai with his wife and 10yr old son and is currently running cybersecurity and machine learning startups based out of Chennai.

IITG Alumni Association (IITGAA) - Get to know the office bearers – Mr. Prakassh Jhawar (President IITGAA – UAE Region)
Prakash Jhawar is a seasoned analytics professional who holds a masters in mathematics and computing from IIT Guwahati, 2011 batch and belong to Siang Hostel at IITG. He is currently based at Dubai since last 4 years with his wife and 2 daughters and leading the model management for UAE region into credit scoring.
Prakash is also part of the HeadStart community which organizes various startup events across regions. Prakash mentors many young professionals who are into analytics space. He has built the IIT Guwahati Alumni Chapter, UAE (Primarily Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah) from scratch and it’s a 50+ member community and is continually expanding.

IITG Alumni Association (IITGAA) - Get to know the office bearers – Ms. Alekhya Muthyam (President IITGAA – USA DMV Region covering states of Washington D.C, Maryland & Virginia)
A native of Hyderabad, Alekhya currently resides in Arlington, VA. She holds an MBA degree from Georgetown University, Washington DC (Class of 2023), and a B. Tech in ECE from IIT Guwahati (Class of 2015).
She has almost six years of experience at Schlumberger as a Wireline Field Engineer, and she is currently working as a Senior Consultant in EY’s Supply Chain and Operations practice. She actively engages in events and groups beyond her academic and professional commitments, and she has held several positions of responsibility. Alekhya's interests include music, travel, and cooking. She is passionate about creating meaningful interactions and a strong network for the alumni within the DMV area.

ITG Alumni Association (IITGAA) - Get to know the office bearers - Mr. Amit Qusba (President - USA Bay Area Chapter)
Amit is a proud, class of 2006, IITG alum. After IITG, he defended his Ph.D. dissertation at NCSU in 2011.
Amit is passionate about connecting people and towards this end has been working on the RF design of Wi-Fi modules at Broadcom since 2012. He is also an angel investor and has invested in 5 start-ups, some founded by IITG alums. Amit has taken up the role of President of IITGAA SF Bay Area chapter.
Amit is a native of Srinagar, Kashmir. He is the 90’s kid from Delhi. His favorite memory of IITG is the after-dinner walks that he used to take with his friends from the Manas mess to the Guest House.

Partha belongs to the 1st batch of IIT Guwahati and completed his B.Tech in 1999 in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Partha has over 24 years of experience in telecom and embedded engineering. He is responsible for defining the IP roadmap, strategy. During his college days, he was more serious about playing tennis ball cricket with batch mates and local boys than attending classes.
Partha has been married for 20 years to his wife Ananya and they live in Bengaluru, India with their daughter who will join an engineering college during Fall season this year. Partha enjoys playing badminton and weekend hiking trips around Bengaluru.

IITG Alumni Association (IITGAA) secretary Virendra Singh recently visited Austin and during his trip, IITGAA Austin Chapter hosted a small alumni event.
Alumni from multiple different batches attended this event and the evening was filled with heartfelt reunions, inspiring stories, and a renewed sense of community.
