A 2 day workshop on Animation, VFX, and Graphic designing organised by the Assam Royal Global University in association with MAAC Lachit Nagar, Guwahati. The workshop was also joined by the Dean of Academics of The Assam Royal Global University, Prof. Dr Ankur Ganguly.

The first day started with a very fun and interactive session on 3D Animation where the students learned to create complex objects with live example. The day ended with a session on VFX, where the students didn't only learn from a live example and the students also took in a fun activity where they recorded and edited their videos themselves.

The second day was totally focused on 2D animation and graphic designing. It is pretty evedent that 2D animation and graphics designing is very much prevalent in today's time as it is used in various fields like educational videos, movies, advertisements and even political rallies. The students were given a demonstration on making some 2D animations which the students followed up by practically performing the demonstrations shown to the students by the trained faculties of MAAC, Lachit Nagar. This workshop thus succeeded in introducing a new path of career and interest to the students of The Assam Royal Global University.

15th September holds a very important date for everyone in the engineering field. The Assam Royal Global University celebrated Engineer's Day as well. By the combined efforts of the RSET dept (Royal School of Engineering Technology) the students of the CSE, Civil and Mechanical branches came together as one to make the event memorable. The Dean of RSET/RSIT along with the various HoD's and faculties in charge of the event made it possible. Prof. Hiren Kumar Dev Sarma, Professor, Department of IT from Gauhati University was invited to deliver a talk on this special occasion. The talk was delivered in the A Block seminar hall. Moreover the students of RSET organised a poster presentation and model display in the ground floor of B Block.

5th September is an auspicious day for everyone in academics. RGU was no exception. Teacher's Day was celebrated by the students in full swing. Various classes organised cake cutting and invited the faculty to join the celebration, dedicated to them. The students also presented the faculty and dean sir with phulam gamusas and performed for the faculties to make this day more memorable and special.

On 1st September, 2023 Royal Global University signed an MOU with O. P. Jindal Global University. The MOU was signed by Dr. A. K. Pansari, chancellor, The Assam Royal Global University and Prof. Dr. C. Raj Kumar, Vice-chancellor, O. P. Jindal Global University. The MOU was signed in the auditorium of RGU where all the faculty and staff were present. This is a truly fortunate milestone for RGU and we look forward to this collaboration.

The new UG batch of 2023 from the department of CSE (RSIT) and RSET thoroughly enjoyed themselves on 23rd August, where their seniors organised team building and fun team work based activities. Hopefully their enthusiasm and involvement in team spirit lasts throughout their Royal journey.

The new batch of Royalites, the UG students, have been attending their respective departmental student induction program. On 24th August, 2023 the CSE department and Royal School of Information Technology (RSIT) invited Mr. Dhruba Jyoti Deka, an upcoming entrepreneur and founder of Brahmaputra Fables. The students had an interactive session with him. They were very enthusiastic in asking questions and knowing about the life of an entrepreneur. The Dean, academics, Prof. Dr. Ankur Ganguly sir was also present throughout the session and delivered the welcome address.
We hope the students have managed to inspire themselves and ignite a spark of creativity.

Royal Global University welcomes our newest batch of students. New blood has been added to Royalites as the new batch of B.Tech, BCA and BScIT were welcomed to the university. The students officially joined the university on 16th and following that day they were fully set to immerse and integrate into the Royal atmosphere by taking part in the student induction programme.
The orientation session was a combined session as well as individual department sessions. The schools of RSET and RSIT also held separate sessions for the students to get introduced with and ease them into the new environment.

The Assam Royal Global University is organising The Royal Summet Retreat, a summer camp designed for students from classes 8 to 12. The dates for the two slots are:
Slot 1. 3rd to 14th July (last date of registration 30th June)
Slot 2. 17th to 28th July (last date of registration 15th July)

On 20th June, 2023... The schools of RSET and RSIT organised a farewell for the outgoing batch of 2023.
