Not only is Priojeet excelling in his research endeavors, but he's also passionately sharing his knowledge with the next generation of scientists!

Congratulation to Dr. Anowar Anowar Hussain (Asst. Prof) for publishing another article in Molecular Targets in Cancer Therapy (Springer) jointly with Tezpur University (India) and Wake Forest University School of Medicine (USA).

This review examines how cancer cells evade key cell death pathways such as apoptosis, parthanatos, and ferroptosis contributing to tumor progression and therapy resistance. It also highlights FDA-approved and investigational compounds targeting these mechanisms, along with the potential of combinatorial and AI-driven strategies to enhance precision cancer treatment.

We are happy to share that Dr. Anowar Hussain, Assistant Professor (Dept. of Biophysics) has published a article in Molecular Targets in Cancer Therapy (Springer) in collaboration with the Assam Down Town University and Tezpur University.

This article reviews genomic instability (GI) as a key driver of cancer and highlights the potential of GI-targeted therapies like PARP inhibitors. It also discusses the integration of genomic data with AI for developing personalized cancer treatments.
