Renowned Medical Educationist Prof. (Dr.) Anup Kr. Barman joined SSUHS today as Vice Chancellor.

Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati and ICMR – Regional Medical Research Centre, NE Region, Dibrugarh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today on 09-12-2024 at the University on research collaboration.

Brahma, Registrar(Academic),Prof.(Dr.) Karabi Baruah, Controller of Examinations of Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences and Dr. A. Jakharia of Regional Medical Research Centre, NE Region, Dibrugarh were present on the signing ceremony.

Registrar of SSUHS inaugurating the 48th Foundation Day celebration of Regional College of Nursing, Guwahati.

Induction training program for newly recruited nursing staff of Medical Colleges of Assam organized by Medical Education and Research Department (M**D), GoA, AHIDMS and SSUHS held at Don Bosco Institute, kharghuli Guwahati on 26th & 27th November,2024 (First Batch) and 29th & 30th November, 2024 (Second Batch). Dr. Siddharth Singh IAS, Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, M**D inaugurated the induction training for the first batch on 26th November, 2024 in presence of Dr. Anup Kr. Barman, Director of Medical Education, GoA, Dr. Sujit Bordhan, Registrar, SSUHS, Dr. Abhijit Bose, Registrar, Midwives, Nurses and Health Visitors Council, Dr. Rocket Chandra Brahma, Academic Registrar, SSUHS and other officials from M**D and SSUHS. The training program of second batch was inaugurated by Sjt. Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia IAS , Secretary, M**D, GoA on 29th November, 2024 in presence of Sjt S P Nandy IAS, Retd. Commissioner & Secretary, Department of Finance, GoA, Dr. Sujit Bordhan, Registrar, SSUHS and other delegates. Around 160 nursing staff from Nalbari Medical College and Nagaon Medical College have attended the training.

Induction programme for the students of B.Sc. Medical Technology Course admitted in Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati under Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences for the academic session 2024-25.
