𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

The Department is delighted to share that 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝘂𝗺𝗱𝗮𝗿 has been honored with the “𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆” for his contributions in the fields of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The award was conferred during the 13th International Conference on “𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗙𝗦𝗧𝗦𝗔𝗘𝗗-2026)”, organized by Assam University in collaboration with the Agro Environmental Development Society.

on the successful presentation of her Ph.D. Second Progress Report under the supervision of Dr. Sanjib Kr. Dutta.

The session was graced by Prof. D. C. Kalita as the External Expert. The session was further enriched by the esteemed presence of Prof. G. D. Sharma, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, USTM; Dr. R. K. Sharma, Advisor, USTM; and Dr. Garima Kalita, Dean, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, USTM, whose insightful observations and constructive suggestions added immense value toward strengthening the research work.

The department extends its best wishes to Ms. Rupanjali Gogoi for continued success in her Ph.D. journey.

FIELD VISIT!

The Department visited Mawkhla Village on the theme Experiencing Natural Resource Management. The field visit provided valuable exposure to community-based resource management practices and sustainable environmental initiatives. The experience served as an enriching opportunity, effectively bridging classroom learning with real-world practices.
