Innovation Idea :

Title: Vocabulary Review

This game engages students and activates them into using their wider vocabulary to describe key words.

Step 1: Students should be divided into two groups.
Step 2: One student from each groups will sit on two chairs with their back to board.
Step 3: The teacher will write a word on the board. The students on the chairs cannot see this, but the rest of the groups can.
Step 4: Both groups will try to describe the word on the board without using the actual word to the student from their groups.
Step 5: The student who sitting on the chair and will be able to guess the word first, gets points. Then the teacher will switch another two students from the each groups to the chair so that everyone get a chance to go at guessing.
Step 6: The group that gets more points will win.

Necessary Materials: Chalk, duster, board, two chairs.
Time taken to prepare: 2 minutes.
For Class: III to VIII

Benefits:
1. The students will be able to developed their English vocabulary.
2. They will able to described things in English.
3. Through this game, the skills of speaking, listening, guessing and understanding of students can be developed by hints and communication skills.
