A Workshop on "Mastering communication skills for professional excellence " was conducted on 26th August by the department of English in collaboration with ICA Edu Skills Pvt Ltd. Dr. Arpee Saikia, Associate Professor of the department of Behavioral science, Royal Global University graced the occasion as a Resource Person of the event. Lipi Saikia, the director of ICA Edu Skills was also present as the guest of honour. Dr Arpee Saikia enlightened the participants by her crisp presentation whereby she spoke on the importance of the 7 C's of Communication. An on the spot quiz competition was also held after the completion of the session. All the participants were awarded certificates. An MOU was also signed between the department of English and Edu Skills Pvt Ltd on the same day and occasion.

On, 7/08/23, West guwahati commerce college, Baripara celebrated "World Commerce Day" under the aegis of IQAC in collaboration with the dept of Accountancy, Finance, Economics and the dept of Management. It was attended by a great number of students and faculty members. The chief guest of the programme was Mr Pranjal Goswami,who also happens to be an alumni of the college and a successful entrepreneur.
