World Environment Day 2025

Today, on 5th June 2025, Sunrise Boarding School, Tintek (East Sikkim) observed World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and a strong message of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Students from Classes IV to VIII actively participated in a rally from Zero to the school, accompanied by a tree plantation drive along the route.
The program was conducted successfully under the guidance of our dedicated teachers, encouraging students to take responsibility for a greener future.

It is to promulgate amongst all that our school remains closed till Monday on account of second Saturday and Ambedkar jayanti and reopen on Tuesday on 15.04.25

Sunrise Boarding School carried out a massive cleanliness drive in an around school campus and BAC complex.
Followed by a short programme on Waste Management.
The programme mainly emphasized on the following points:

# 3 R's
# What is waste and its type
# The problem faced by improper waste management and its future consequences
# Importance of waste management and its practices.
