With immense pride and joy, the entire Gandhar Music Academy family extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Kripa Tewari, daughter of Mr. Kedar Nath Tewari of Sokpay, South Sikkim, for successfully completing her Graduation in Music from Sikkim University.

Adding to this proud achievement, Kripa received her degree from the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, during the 7th Convocation Ceremony of Sikkim University. This remarkable milestone is a matter of great pride not only for her family but also for the entire music fraternity of Sikkim.

Kripa has been one of the dedicated and talented students of Gandhar Music Academy, and we are delighted that she continues to remain a part of our musical family. Her hard work, discipline, and passion for music have truly inspired many aspiring musicians.

We are equally delighted to congratulate Ms. Kaushila Chettri and Mr. Kishan Adhikari and unfortunately couldn’t join us today. They have also successfully earned their degrees in Music. Both of them are proud members of the Gandhar Music Academy family, and their achievements reflect the growing strength and dedication of young musicians in our state.

At Gandhar Music Academy, we strongly believe that music is not merely an art form but a powerful tool for education, cultural preservation, personal growth, and social transformation. Over the years, the academy has remained committed to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for aspiring artists. The Annual Examination of Gandhar Music Academy for the academic session 2025–2026 was successfully conducted today at the academy centre, Jewels Gate, Tadong, Gangtok.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Proprietor and Director, Miss Seema Rai, along with the Founder of the academy and music instructor, Mr. Pawan Rai. The auspicious beginning marked a day dedicated to music, learning, and artistic excellence.

The examination was conducted in the esteemed presence of external examiners Mr. AlokDina Chhetri, Mr. Dinesh Dahal, and Mr. Mahesh Guragain. Miss आकृति शर्मा served as the observer alongside Mr. Pawan Rai, ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of the examination process.

Students from different levels appeared for the examination and showcased their dedication, discipline, and musical talents with great enthusiasm and confidence. The event reflected the academy’s continued commitment towards nurturing young musicians and promoting quality music education in Sikkim.

Gandhar Music Academy extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the respected guests, external examiners, parents, guardians, students, and well-wishers for their constant support, cooperation, and encouragement in making the Annual Examination a grand success. The academy also appreciates the efforts of every teacher and staff member who contributed wholeheartedly towards the successful completion of the programme.
