🎨 A Tuesday Filled with Colours, Creativity and Fun! 🌿✨

Every Tuesday, our school observes Art and Craft Period, providing students with an opportunity to learn, explore, and express their creativity through fun-filled activities.

Yesterday, all our students came together for an exciting Leaf Tracing and Painting Activity. 🌿🖌️ Using different leaves, the students carefully traced their unique shapes and brought them to life with beautiful colours and their own creative imagination. The activity not only made learning enjoyable but also helped develop their observation skills, creativity, concentration, and fine motor skills.

The colourful session was followed by an exciting Listening Game, where students had fun while learning the importance of careful listening and attention. 👂🎯

It was truly a wonderful session filled with creativity, laughter, learning, and joyful participation! 🌈💫

🩺💙 A Step Towards a Healthier Tomorrow! 💙🩺

Today, our school was filled with care, awareness, and smiles as a School Health Camp was successfully conducted for the well-being of our dear students. 🏫👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

The dedicated medical nurses and staff from Simick Lingzey Primary Health Centre (PHC) visited our school and conducted various health check-ups. The students’ height and weight were measured, while ENT and dental screenings were conducted. 🦷👂🩺 Eye screening was also carried out for three students, along with haemoglobin tests.

Additionally, the T.D. (Tetanus and Diphtheria) vaccine was administered to two eligible students. 💉❤️

The health camp was a wonderful initiative towards ensuring that our children not only learn and grow academically but also remain healthy, safe, and strong. 🌱✨

A heartfelt thank you to the entire medical team of Simick Lingzey PHC for their valuable time, dedicated service, and care towards our students. 🙏💐

🌸 Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) at Simick Lingzey JHS

Today, a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully conducted at Simick Lingzey JHS in the presence of the School Management Committee (SMC). We were pleased to have the participation of all the parents, who actively engaged and contributed to the discussion.

The Headmistress, teachers and parents discussed the students’ overall progress in both academic and non-academic areas, including their learning, participation, behaviour, attendance and overall development. The meeting provided a meaningful platform for teachers and parents to share their observations, discuss areas for improvement and work together towards the holistic development of every child.

The active participation and cooperation of the parents made the meeting meaningful and productive. Together, school and parents can create a supportive environment where every child gets the encouragement and guidance they need to grow and succeed. 🌱📚🤝

🩺 Deworming Programme at Simick Lingzey JHS

Today, the medical staff from Simick Lingzey Primary Health Centre (PHC) visited our school and provided deworming tablets to all the students as part of the school health initiative. Our respected Headmistress and teachers coordinated with the PHC medical team to ensure the programme was carried out smoothly and safely.

Regular deworming is important for children as it helps prevent and control intestinal worm infections, improve digestion and nutrient absorption, support healthy growth and development, and reduce problems such as weakness, abdominal discomfort and poor appetite. Keeping our children healthy is an essential step towards helping them learn, grow and participate actively in school. 🌱📚

Independence Day Celebration at Simick Lingzey JHS

Simick Lingzey JHS celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit in the presence of all the teachers and students. The programme began with the Headmistress hoisting the National Flag, followed by the students singing the National Song, “Vande Mataram.” The celebration filled the school campus with a strong sense of pride, unity, and love for our nation. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets among the students, adding joy to the celebration. 🇮🇳

80th Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳

Our school celebrated the 80th Independence Day today with great joy and pride.
The Tricolour flag was hoisted by the Head of the School, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and patriotic songs.
Sweets were also distributed to all the children, sponsored by the Education Department.

Report on Har Ghar Tiranga

School: Simick Lingzey Government Junior High School.

**Objectives.

The main objective of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was to encourage citizens to display the National Flag at their homes, thereby promoting patriotism, national unity, and respect for the tricolour.

**Ex*****on and Participation.

Our school enthusiastically participated in this initiative to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and national unity. As part of the campaign, students were educated on the proper display guidelines and the respectful handling of the National Flag. Students, teachers, and members of the local community all actively participated in the program.

**Conclusion.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was a highly successful and inspiring initiative. It successfully fostered a deep sense of patriotism, unity, and respect for the National Flag among both the students and the members of the local community.

Today, the Honourable Advisor to the Labour Department cm BLPF President, Shri Phigu Tshering Bhutia, visited our school.
His kind and committed efforts will see the construction of our main school gate, just below the main road.
He also interacted with our students and staff and discussed the development of the school and improvement of students’ academic performance with our Headmistress.
