The Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp (BBSC) was celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm and excitement. The camp aims to develop basic conversational skills in an Indian language other than the mother tongue through joyful, interactive, and activity-based learning. This week-long initiative, launched by the Ministry of Education, is being conducted from 19.06.2026 to 26.06.2026.
For this special event, the school unanimously decided to teach Sanskrit, one of the oldest and most respected languages of India. Sanskrit is often referred to as the "Devavani" (Language of the Gods) and is the foundation of many Indian languages. It is renowned for its rich literary heritage, scientific grammatical structure, and its contribution to Indian culture, philosophy, literature, and ancient knowledge systems.
On Day 1 (19.06.2026), students participated enthusiastically in various learning activities designed to introduce them to the basics of Sanskrit. The following topics and activities were covered:
Basic greetings and salutations (e.g., Namaste, Suprabhatam)
Common conversational expressions
Introduction to the Sanskrit alphabet (Varnamala)
Simple words used in daily life
The students showed interest in learning the language and actively participated in all the activities. The first day of the camp was highly successful and laid a strong foundation for the upcoming sessions.
