Summer Camp Activity Report
Date: 19 June 2026
Today, our school commenced the Summer Camp with an engaging language activity focused on basic greetings and expressions in Lepcha and Bhutia languages. The objective of the activity was to help students appreciate and learn the rich cultural heritage of our region.
Students were introduced to common greetings, polite expressions, and simple conversational phrases in both languages. They actively participated in speaking practice, role-play activities, and group interactions. The session helped enhance their communication skills while promoting respect for linguistic diversity and local traditions.
The activity was enjoyable and educational, and the students showed great enthusiasm in learning new words and expressions. The programme successfully created awareness about the importance of preserving and promoting indigenous languages.
