A Farewell-cum-Felicitation Programme was concluded at Govt.jr.high school Pathing, Namchi District on 14 May 2026. The event was organized to honor the transferred Teachers.

The programme was dedicated to felicitates the transferred teachers Mr. Dorjee Wongda Bhutia(GT Math) and Mr. Buddha Raj S***a (GT Arts).

This ceremony commenced with a welcome address by the school authority, expressing gratitude for the invaluable services rendered by the farewell program was organized in honour of the transferred teacher, Mr.Dorjee.Wongda. Bhutia and Mr. Buddha Raj S***a.

The programme was graced by school incharge Madam, Smt. Krishna Kumari Gurung and SMC President Mr. Paresh Basnett.

The program commenced with a welcome address delivered by school staff Smt. Anamika Gurung (PRT), who highlighted the teacher’s sincerity, commitment, and positive impact on the academic and co-curricular development of the students.

A cultural programme was also presented by the students, including songs, speeches, dances and video Presentation by school staff Mr. Saroj Gurung and Rajesh Gurung which made the occasion memorable and emotional.

Felicitation ceremony were presented to the transferred teacher as a mark of respect and gratitude.
In his farewell speech, Mr. D.W. Bhutia and Mr. B.R. S***a thanked the school family, students, and community members for their support, cooperation, and affection during his tenure in the school. He expressed heartfelt memories and encouraged the students to work hard and maintain discipline.

Yesterday i.e. 14 may 2026 With mixed emotions, we gather to express our sincere gratitude and bid goodbye to a remarkable educator who has been an invaluable part of our school family. Your dedication, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to shaping young minds have left a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and the entire institution.

Your patience, kindness, and passion for teaching have inspired countless students to dream big and achieve success. Beyond academics, you have instilled values, discipline, and confidence in every child you guided.

As you move forward to a new chapter, we want you to know that your contributions to this school will always be remembered and cherished. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your legacy will continue to inspire us.

The programme was conducted by Mr. Abiral Basnett and Mr. Ranjeet Gurung and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Miss. Pratima Gurung who thanked everyone for their presence and cooperation in making the farewell programme successful. The event ended with lunch and warm wishes for the teacher’s future success and happiness.

🌍💧 Jal Pakhwada 2026 | Earth Day Celebration 💧🌍
On the occasion of Earth Day, Pathing junior High school enthusiastically observed Jal Pakhwada 2026 with a series of meaningful activities aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of water conservation.

i) An Essay Writing Competition on the topic “Conservation of Water” was conducted for the students of Classes vi to viii. The young writers expressed their thoughtful ideas, creative solutions, and deep concern towards saving water in their daily life. Their words truly reflected responsibility and awareness.

ii) 21.04.2026 : Observed by a junior level drawing competition. Students from classes i-viii actively participated in showcasing their artistic skills and their ideas on water as a source of life during the last two periods.

iii) Today's morning assembly also highlighted the occasion with a speech on Water Conservation.
The school appreciates the enthusiastic participation of all students and encourages everyone to adopt water-saving habits in their daily lives.

Today our school observed National Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas with great enthusiasm to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India in 1949 and to promote awareness of constitutional values among citizens.
National Constitution Day is celebrated across India on 26 November to mark the historic day in 1949. When the Constituent Assembly adopted the Constitution of India. The day reminds citizens, especially students, of the importance of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity in building a strong and inclusive nation.
National Constitution Day honours Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and other members of the Drafting Committee and Constituent Assembly for laying the foundations of India’s democracy.
The Constitution came into effect on 26 January 1950, which is celebrated as Republic Day, marking India’s transition into a sovereign democratic republic.
Today our school observed the day by reading the Preamble to the Constitution and reflecting on its ideals. Our school also organised a Drawing and Essay writing competition,to deepen students’ understanding of the Constitution and their role as responsible citizens.

Lastly Our Respected School Incharge Ma'am gave a concluding speech and requested everyone to respect and understand the importance of Our Constitution.

बाल दिवस शैक्षिक भ्रमण – २०२५

पाथिङ, निम्न माध्यमिक विद्यालयले बाल दिवस २०२५ को अवसरमा १४ नोभेम्बर २०२५ मा गान्तोक तथा आसपासका क्षेत्रहरूमा एक शैक्षिक भ्रमण कार्यक्रम भव्यरूपमा सम्पन्न गर्यो।
यस भ्रमणको मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थीहरूलाई कक्षाकोठाभन्दा बाहिरको वास्तविक परिवेशमा अध्यापनका अवसर उपलब्ध गराउँदै विभिन्न शैक्षिक तथा ऐतिहासिक स्थलहरूको प्रत्यक्ष अवलोकनमार्फत अनुभवाधारित शिक्षा प्रदान गर्नु थियो।

यस कार्यक्रम विद्यालयका सम्पूर्ण शिक्षकवृन्दको सर्वसम्मत निर्णयअनुसार तथा विद्यालय सह-प्रबन्धक श्रीमती कृष्णा कुमारी गुरुङको नेतृत्व र मार्गदर्शनमा सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको थियो।
भ्रमणको क्रममा विद्यार्थीहरूले विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण स्थानहरूको अवलोकन गरी व्यावहारिक ज्ञान, जिज्ञासा, अवलोकन क्षमता, सामाजिक मूल्य तथा समग्र व्यक्तित्व विकासमा टेवा पुग्ने महत्वपूर्ण अनुभवहरू प्राप्त गरे।
