We had an amazing time celebrating International Women’s Day at our University! 💐 The event was full of fun, creativity, and inspiration.

A big highlight was the cooking competition(Lost Recipes), where our team showcased our culinary skills and won the 1st position 🏆.

We are delighted to share the successful completion of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Cyber Security & Forensic Science, hosted by S.K.Patel Institute of Management and Computer studies MCA and organized by Faculty of Computer Science (FCS), Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV), Gandhinagar.

This FDP aimed to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to emerging areas in cybersecurity and digital forensics.

🔹 Day 1: Vulnerability Assessment
The program commenced with an in-depth session on identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.

🔹 Day 2: Digital Forensic Science & Belkasoft Tool
This session covered the fundamentals of digital forensics along with practical case-solving techniques using the Belkasoft tool.

🔹 Day 3: Pe*******on Testing
We explored ethical hacking methodologies and tools used to identify and exploit system vulnerabilities.

🔹 Day 4: Mobile Security & Pe*******on Testing
The focus was on mobile security challenges, vulnerabilities, and testing techniques for securing mobile applications.

🔹 Day 5: Web Application Security & Pe*******on Testing
An insightful session on web security, covering common attacks such as SQL injection and XSS, along with hands-on pe*******on testing.

🔹 Day 6: Visit to NFSU
The FDP concluded with an educational visit to National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), where we gained exposure to real-world forensic practices and advanced cybersecurity infrastructure.

We recently had the opportunity to visit Odoo with students from our institute, and it was truly an insightful experience.

During the visit, we explored how Odoo develops powerful ERP solutions that help businesses manage their operations efficiently. It was inspiring for our students to see the practical side of technology, innovation, and teamwork in a real industry environment.

Such industry visits are incredibly valuable as they bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. Our students gained meaningful insights into ERP systems, business processes, and the professional work culture at Odoo.

A big thank you to Mr. Shardul Dave and the Odoo team for hosting us and sharing their knowledge. Experiences like these motivate our students to learn, grow, and prepare for the future.
