Hi Friends, sharing a case of a small benign growth over the tongue excised with diode laser. Histopathologically, it was diagnosed as Pyogenic granuloma. Laser should always be preferred for such lesions as they allow bloodless field, greater acceptance by patients and very few post operative complications.

Hello friends, presenting a case of nodular leukoplakia, histopathologically carcinoma in situ. The management included a combination of topical antifungals, topical retinoids, antioxidants and a final removal by diode laser. The lesion took time to heal but recurred after 6 months and was again managed by the same protocol. The last photograph is a one year follow up showing good healing. Patient cooperation, trust and team work are the key factors in managing such cases.
