We are delighted to share that Dr. Vinit Movaliya and Prof. Maitreyi Zaveri, Placement Committee Coordinators from KBIPER, represented our institute at the Mega Pharmacy Placement Fair 2025, organized by Saraswati Institute of Pharmacy in association with Indian Drug Manufacturers Association (IDMA) - Gujarat State Board (IDMA-GSB) and in collaboration with National Pharmavision.

The fair witnessed participation from 23+ pharmaceutical industries, CROs, and hospitals, offering 350+ vacancies for aspiring professionals.

Our faculty members actively interacted with HR representatives and industry leaders, fostering valuable connections and exploring future opportunities for student placements and collaborations.

The pre-placement activity, organized by Dr. Vinit Movaliya (Placement Coordinator), and it was successfully coordinated with the support of Prof. Sandip Bhatt, Prof. Maitreyi Zaveri, Dr. Bhavesh Patel, and Dr. Javid Mansuri.

Prof. Anita Lalwani (III Cell Coordinator) introduced our MoU partner MITCON Consultancy & Engineering Services Ltd., Pune and warmly welcomed the MITCON team to KBIPER. She emphasized the importance of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and exploring opportunities of mutual interest.

📍 Industrial Visit at Orchid Lifesciences, Ahmedabad

🗓️ Saturday, 5th July 2025 | ⏰ 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

As part of their academic enrichment, M.Pharm (Regulatory Affairs) Semester III students from KBIPER, along with faculty members, visited Orchid Lifesciences – a WHO-GMP & ISO-compliant manufacturing and R&D facility located in Kathwada-GIDC, Ahmedabad.

👨‍🔬 Students observed:
🔹 Pilot-scale formulation trials
🔹 Manufacturing of solid and semisolid dosage forms: toothpaste, skin care, body powder, shampoos, ointments, and creams, etc
🔹 Advanced Quality Control labs with UV spectroscopy, stability chambers, & automated packaging lines

The visit provided valuable hands-on exposure to real-time industrial practices and regulatory compliance, bridging the gap between academia and industry.

We are pleased to announce that Miss. Nidhi Dave has successfully qualified to receive her Doctor of Philosophy degree. Her research project, titled "DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF ANALYTICAL METHODS FOR THE QUANTITATIVE ESTIMATION OF SELECTED ANTIVIRAL DRUGS IN BULK AND MARKETED FORMULATION" was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Bhavesh Patel. Miss. Nidhi Dave completed her PhD at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Quality Assurance, K.B. Happy to share that another achievement of our faculty Dr.Nish*th Teraiya published an Article As co-author in Journal- Bioorganic and medicinal chemistry, Elsevier, Q2 class, Impact factor-3.3, Acceptance rate of journal is 15%

The 3rd Certificate Course on Pharma Regulatory Affairs, recognized by the Indian Society of Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs (ISPRA) and organized by KBIPER, was a resounding success! 🚀✨

With 24 expert speakers and 86 participants from across India, the program delivered an enriching and dynamic learning experience on pharmaceutical regulations. 📚💡
